WASHINGTON, DC — July 23, 2009

We have arranged for special room rates for Sunday and Monday nights at the Phoenix Park Hotel. Through a special arrangement, the hotel is also offering the same room rates for a limited number of rooms for HIA members who are exhibiting at or attending the DC Green Festival, so you can conveniently stay there for both events. (You must stay at least one of the nights of the HIA Convention to get the special rate.) The hotel is close to the Washington Convention Center where the DC Green Festival is being held.

Please note: Attendees are responsible for making their own room reservations directly with the hotel. Early booking is highly recommended. Once our block of reserved rooms runs out, we cannot guarantee the hotel will have a room for you. Please make your reservations now.

You must CALL the hotel directly to make your reservation. Do not book online.

Please remember to mention the Hemp Industries Association or Group Code #13403 when booking in order to get the HIA group rate, and be sure to get a reservation confirmation number. You must make your reservation by September 11 to get the HIA group rate.

General Registration Fee – (first attendee): $250 per person June 20 - August 14. (The Late Registration Fee will $300 per person from August 15 - October 11). HIA Full Company Members may bring additional attendees (company employees) at a $50 discount each. All other attendees must be HIA Supporting Members.

The registration fee includes pastries and coffee in the morning, lunch and dinner on Monday, October 12. (The hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast.) It also includes attendance to our Annual General Meeting, panel discussions and awards dinner, as well as the opportunity to network with other members. Your travel, lodging and meals (except as noted above) are not included.
