17th Annual Convention to be Held on November 7-8 After SF Green Festival


SAN FRANCISCO, CA - May 28, 2010 - The Hemp Industries Association (HIA) is pleased to announce that the 17th Annual HIA Convention & Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday and Monday, November 7-8, 2010 at the Holiday Inn - Civic Center in San Francisco, CA, directly after the SF Green Festival on November 5-7.

We have arranged for special room rates starting at just $99 for Sunday and Monday nights at the Holiday Inn - Civic Center. Through a special arrangement, the hotel is also offering the same room rates for a limited number of rooms for HIA members who are exhibiting at or attending the SF Green Festival, so you can conveniently stay there for both events. (You must stay at least one of the nights of the HIA Convention to get the special rate.) The hotel is close to the SF Concourse Exhibition Center where the SF Green Festival is being held.

Please note: Attendees are responsible for making their own room reservations. Early booking is highly recommended. Once our block of reserved rooms runs out, we cannot guarantee the hotel will have a room for you.

More About the 2010 HIA Convention

Early Bird Registration Fee - (first attendee): $200 per person May 17 to June 18. (The registration fee will be $250 from June 19 to August 20 and $300 from August 21 to November 8.) HIA Full Company Members may bring additional attendees (company employees) at a $50 discount each. All other attendees must be HIA Supporting Members.

We have set an Early Bird deadline of Friday, June 18, 2010 for you to pre-register and take advantage of the special discounted registration fee. Your early registration is appreciated and helps with event planning. As an added bonus you will receive your choice of a free embroidered HIA or Hemp History Week hemp hat at the convention for registering during the Early Bird period.
